There’s no denying that company culture can affect the employee performance. But how company culture affects the employee performance?
A company consists of many parts and areas. With such a big organization, there needs to be one thing that can keep them together in order to accomplish the company goals. This is when a company culture is needed.

Company culture shapes the way employees do their work and interact with each other within the company. Company holds beliefs, values, and ideology that become “the way of life” of employees within the company. It gives a general vision that connects every part of the company to go to the same direction or goals.

The way a company stay true to its culture does affect many aspects in it. A company that holds its culture and make their employees accustom to certain ways of doing things can succeed in achieving their short-term and even long-term goals. So, back to the question, how company culture affects the employee performance in that sense?

Company culture can have various effects on employee performance and even motivation levels. When employees regard themselves as parts of their company culture, they can work harder in order to achieve the company’s goals.

If there is more than one culture that runs in a single company, it can hinder the performance of each different area. Once they have differing values and beliefs, they may work in different ways or even change direction of goals.

From the explanation above, it’s clear that company culture plays a big role in employee performance which later can determine on how successful a company can be. It can be the reason behind every goal that the company achieved and how well the integration between every area is. It also gives a big direction on how to complete the work.
